It’s Official: HBI is now a GlobalGiving Community Partner!

The HBI Team is proud to announce that we are now an official partner of the GlobalGiving Community after successfully completing the June 2018 Accelerator Program.

GlobalGiving’s Accelerator is a virtual training program that helps nonprofits have a safe and secure space to handle online donations.  HBI is proud to say that we have met GlobalGiving’s rigorous vetting standards for trust and community support.

More importantly, through the support of HBI’s existing donors, advocates, and volunteers, we were able to secure US$5,001 from 48 donors who made 52 unsolicited and voluntary donations in June 2018 for our first GlobalGiving project – the La Union Rural Daycare Improvement Project.

The four daycare centers who will benefit from the project are the Bay-O Daycare Center and Tubaday Daycare Center – both located in the mountainous portions of Santol, La Union; the Basig Daycare Center located in Sudipen, La Union, and the San Antonio Daycare Center in Balaoan, La Union. These daycare centers will receive additional educational materials, equipment, training, and support for infrastructure improvements. The project will officially begin its implementation on August 2018 or once we receive the raised funds from GlobalGiving.
