The Haligi ng Bata, Inc. head office is situated at #4 Faustino Street, Isidora Hills Subdivision, Barangay Holy Spirit, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. The HBI office is constructed on a 500 square meter lot leased by the Quezon City government to HBI. Since our former Netherlands partner, ICS-The Netherlands, gave the funding for the construction of the four-storey building, the structure is referred to as the Haligi ng Bata, Inc. – Skills Development Resource Center – Holland House (HBI-SDRC for short). The head office serves as the go-to place for partners (be they funding or implementing partners) who wish to coordinate with HBI and the beneficiaries. The office also welcomes their clients since this is where the HBI team tend to all needs of the beneficiaries – from education, health, livelihood and community and school concerns.
The first floor of the HBI-SDRC Holland House is comprised of the activity area – a place where children/youth gather to have their activities done; the HBI Youth Center where children could use computers, play educational games and print their assignments for free; the kitchen, clinic and reception area.
The second floor is occupied to house all the technical staff. It houses the Executive Director’s room, the Program and CSP offices and the Administration and Finance Department. The training facilities and the room of the Livelihood Development Unit occupy the third floor. On the last floor (fourth floor), one can see the Board Room, guest rooms and lodging area for training participants and visiting partners.
In La Union, HBI occupies a staff house and office situated in the middle of the town of Bangar, La Union within the area where the Bangar Municipal Hall, the Police Station and government offices are located. As such, we can say that our Region 1 office is strategically located as that of our office in Quezon City.
In Talisay, Negros Occidental, HBI holds office in the Bayanihan-Habitat Homes. HBI’s field office is at The HBI Bayanihan-Habitat CSP Center located at the heart of the village which is accessible to all beneficiaries and parents.
